~ Welcome ~
Whether you are unable to visit Kent to carry out your own research or do not know where to start I may be able to help you on your journey to discover the long forgotten people in your family.
By offering a comprehensive Kent research service using primary sources held at the various Kent repositories, together with my local knowledge, I am able to tailor a family history to your specific requirements (providing the records have survived).
Kent Ancestry Research is a research service offered by Deborah Collins. I have lived all my life in Kent, as have a large number of my family which over 20 plus years of research I have managed to trace back 12 generations. My interest began with an ordinary family story and still continues as I try to fill in the missing details of the lives of my ancestors.
Search fees are £15 an hour plus expenses at 40p a mile (travelling time is not charged). A charge is made for photocopies or copies of documents at the rate charged by the organisation concerned (where this is allowed). Payment may be made by PayPal or by cheque made payable to Deborah Collins at the address on the contact page.
Thank you for visiting my web site and please get in touch with no obligation to discuss how I can assist you.
